Olivier Nicolle is a european patent and trademark attorney, and European representative with the EPO (European Patent Office) and EUIPO (European union Intellectual Property Office). He has a master degree in Sciences and technical field (Electronics and innovation major) from the University of Angers (France) and a master degree in electronic communication/Space activities Law (University Sceaux). Specialized in intellectual property law, and more specifically in patent and trademark French and European Law in the field of new technologies, software, and information technologies.
Active in Intellectual Property Right field since 1985, he started in private practice at Brevatome (1985-1986), Cabinet Netter (Partner 1986-2001), BDSA (2001-2003) and SANTARELLI (2003-2006). He gained experience in Industry (2006-2012) as Senior IP Corporate Counsel in Alcatel-Lucent Intellectual Property & Standards Group. He was Patent Creation site manager for France & India and responsible for building a significant patent portfolio.Today, founder and managing partner of IP/ON GLOBAL, he practices independently for innovative companies on drafting and prosecuting patents. He also advises on various IP issues for companies having ties and R&D in Europe and India.Olivier is giving a lot of awareness programs on IP with French Patent office. He is a teaching assistant at DJCE Montpellier and jury at the French examination qualification in patents.
Olivier NICOLLE assist and advise innovative companies in patent drafting, examination and registration in France, the European Union and other countries. He intervene in litigation cases in the field of patent and trademark law, and the draft of exploitation licences, co-ownership contracts, consortium creation and technological transfer contracts.
